Sony jog dial, combined with a good menu makes flicking through really easy.
The phone is a good size, with a good resolution and size screen, with buttons big enough for most people.
Fully featured with wap, predictive text etc...
Recently dropped in price, around £70/£80 now.
Battery life is great, I get around 12 days standby from one charge, sometimes a bit more.
Slightly smaller and lighter than nokia 3330
The vibrate function is quite weedy compared to other phones, and sometimes you won't notice it.
Recordable ring tones are ok, but can't play complicated stuff, and are only 10 seconds long
Software has crashed twice.... twice more than my 2 1/2 year old motorola :)
The Sony CMD J7 is a good mobile phone, especially if you are tired of nokias or want to stand out from the crowd slightly. Personally I am very happy with the phone, and all phones have weak points and just overcoming those on the J7 isn't too difficult. With recent price drops the J7 is looking an even more attractive proposition
