Small size and one hand operation.
No camera, no internet access - in fact none of those things that many of us do not want phones to do.
I bought a Sony CMD-Z7e three years ago and it now seems to be the only flip lid phone available that I can get out of my pocket with one hand, while carrying shopping in the other, and operate all the controls easily with that one hand.
