Design is obviously the main selling point here. It's sleek. If you want a phone to impress this wins hands down.
The screen is large and clear.
The camera seems of good quality, and the 8x digital zoom is a nice feature, although the quality suffers, as you would expect, the more you zoom.
I was warned by friends who had the older V3, that dropping it, it would mean a dead phone, but I have actually dropped mine at least 3 times on to very hard (concrete) surfaces, with very little damage! I'm very impressed.
The menu structure of the Motorola V3i mobile phone takes a while to get to grips with, and even after about 2 months I still struggle to find what I'm looking for.
After having an Ericsson K700i, I found the SMS message dictionary confusing to use, and I don't believe you can add your own words, which is disappointing.
When I last looked into it, you could not get an adapter to allow the use of normal 35mm headphones, meaning you would have to use a bluetooth headset, which, unless you're driving, makes you look like a complete *insert appropriate insult*.
The SD card slot on the Motorola V3i mobile phone is a must have for me! I love my music, and I especially enjoy taking pictures and videos. I immediately upgraded to a 512Mb memory card, but the Carphone Warehouse, who claimed to have a great offer, charged twice the price of some well known major web retailers.
I was recommended this phone by a friend, and I have since recommended it to two other friends, who after trying it have also bought one.
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!
